This flag was signed by some of my closest friends and family before I left for college. It’s my most important possession and I have it hanging above my bed, always reminding me of home. It symbolizes the amazing people in my life and the ones I’ll reunite with when I return. It is a source of strength during tough moments, especially when I’m feeling homesick. The messages written by my loved ones mostly words of encouragement give me the resilience to face whatever comes my way.
