Last semester, I made two friends who quickly became some of the most important people in my life. Just a few weeks after we met, they gave me this book, which they’d found in a giveaway pile. It was such a thoughtful gesture because, at that time, I was complaining about how an art history class was giving me a hard time. They gave it to me, hoping it would help and it did! It included some of the artworks we covered in class. Beyond being useful, this book holds sentimental value because it reminds me of their nice gesture and support when we just had a few weeks of knowing each other.
