My dad gave me this ukulele a couple of years ago. At the time, I didn’t have much chance to practice since I was only home for about a month at a time. But I always planned on learning, and on my last visit home, I decided to take it back with me to college. Now, I’m finally making some progress, I’ve learned two songs so far, but there’s plenty more to go! It’s become a great stress reliever. What I love most about this ukulele is that it’s a reminder of how supportive my dad has always been with anything I wanted to learn or do. When I told him I wanted to learn how to play, he made sure to get me one, which means a lot to me.
